Medical students accidentally take skin from the wrong donor resulting in a bloodbath in a NYC hospital ward, and an elderly professor becomes the city's most wanted man.

FBI agents Mulder and Scully suspect something more ominous than a medical procedure gone awry. Together they uncover an unholy alliance between a plastic surgeon, international politicians, and a legendary Thai monster known as the 'Skin-Eater'.
