The DCTO project is centred on the Japanese legend of Daruma, a 5th century monk and the founder of Zen Buddhism. The DCTO figure is Dacosta's modern interpretation of the traditional Daruma dolls which are used in Japan both when starting a new endeavour and as celebratory gifts. People paint in the left eye of the doll to symbolize their commitment to a goal and paint in the right eye when they have achieved the goal.
DCTO comes in three traditional Ritual Brush colours -- Temple Red, Emperor's Yellow, and Sumi-e Black. There will also be 2 rare variant colours.
